In your new role you will:

o Develop Infineon's in-house mixed-signal circuit simulator
o Develop and constantly optimize the simulator to achieve maximum
performance, feature set and maintainability
o Improve existing software modules including refactoring and
maintenance of existing code
o Support our worldwide user community
o Write technical documentation
o Participate in EU-funded projects that are actively pursuing topics
relevant to Infineon-internal simulation communities
Your Profile
An Infineon user is your first priority - we want to develop
functionalities that help in the daily chip development process.
Therefore, it is important to 'translate' user requirements into
specifications - while having an eye for the details. As we are
working in a team, but also in standalone projects, you should bring
flexibility in your working style as well as good self-management.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
o A degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related
o Several years of work experience in electronic design automation
(EDA) area or analog/mixed-signal circuit design or software design
and implementation or a related technical area
o Very good programming skills with focus on C++/C in UNIX
environments; programming experience in Windows environment and/or
FORTRAN skills are an advantage
o Very good knowledge about mixed-signal circuit design and
simulation, ideally also familiarity with Cadence AMS
Designer/Xcelium/Incisive or Synopsis VCS or Mentor Questa/Symphony
o Some hands-on experience with tools like Spectre, HSPICE and
languages such as SPICE, SystemVerilog or Verilog or SystemC; possibly
also Verilog-AMS or SystemC-AMS
o Working experience in adjacent areas such as analog/mixed-signal
simulations or system-level circuit simulations as a benefit
o In the best case already previous experience in circuit simulator
o Familiarity with agile software development techniques
o Fluent English skills with German seen as a plus
